Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Deputy Minister of Commerce (Wamendag) Jerry Sambuaga emphasised that the sale of used clothes was permitted, so long as it didn’t violate current rules.
He defined, the sale of used garments was prohibited as a result of there was a provision within the Minister of Commerce Regulation Quantity 40 of 2022 regarding Amendments to the Minister of Commerce Regulation Quantity 18 of 2021 regarding Export Prohibited Items and Import Prohibited Items.
“Because the Minister stated, the sale is seen as what merchants do so long as they do not violate the foundations. The necessary factor is that we ban imports,” Jerry stated when met on the DPR RI Constructing, Jakarta, Tuesday (6/6/2023).
