Yogya Rocked by a M 6.4 Earthquake, BMKG: No Tsunami Potential Information – 9 hours in the past

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Company (BMKG) reported that there had been an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter Scale (SR) tonight, Friday (30/06/2023).

The epicenter of the earthquake was 86 km southwest of Bantul, Yogyakarta.

Quoting a report from the official BMKG Twitter account, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 25 kilometers (km) on Friday (30/6/2023) at 19:57:43 WIB. The earthquake has no potential for a tsunami.
