El perejil fresco puede perder rápidamente su textura si no se consume a tiempo. Por eso, el reconocido influencer gastronómico peruano Pisu Cocina compartió un truco fácil para aprovechar las hojas, convertirlas en un condimento seco y conservarlas por más tiempo.
¿Cómo deshidratar el perejil?
Primero, separar las hojas de los tallos y colocarlas sobre un plato, bien distribuidas y sin amontonarlas. Antes de llevarlas al calor, es importante que estén secas para facilitar el proceso.
Si se utiliza el microondas, colocar las hojas durante aproximadamente tres minutos. Cada 30 segundos, retirarlas brevemente para moverlas y volver a distribuirlas sobre el plato. Repetir hasta que hayan perdido toda la humedad.
Otra alternativa es utilizar una freidora de aire. En este caso, colocar las hojas a 80 °C durante unos 17 minutos. El tiempo puede variar según la cantidad utilizada y el equipo, por lo que conviene comprobar que estén completamente secas.
Convertir las hojas en polvo
Cuando las hojas estén deshidratadas, pasarlas por un tamiz para desmenuzarlas y conseguir un polvo más uniforme. De esta manera, el perejil queda listo para utilizar como condimento en distintas preparaciones.
¿Cómo conservar el perejil?
Finalmente, colocar el perejil seco en un envase de vidrio limpio y completamente seco. Guardarlo en un lugar protegido de la humedad para evitar que vuelva a absorber agua.
Según el truco compartido por Pisu Cocina, el perejil puede conservarse durante más de cuatro meses bajo estas condiciones. Así, en lugar de dejar que las hojas frescas terminen marchitándose, puedes transformarlas en un condimento práctico para tener siempre a mano.
